Meet Rulien & Associates Firm Experience Specialist, Teenah Floyd
February 12, 2019
We’d like to shine our employee spotlight on Teenah Floyd, our Firm Experience Specialist. Teenah attended Northern Virginia
Community College and the University of Arizona, and holds an associate degree in Health Administration. We recently visited
with Teenah and enjoyed the diverse conversation from her love of travel to her interest in modern forensic science. With a goal of taking three trips a year with her husband and children, Teenah is living her personal mantra, “Do what makes your soul happy.” Teenah claims adventure, loyalty and independence are her three defining traits, and we think you’ll agree when you get to know her better through her responses from our chat.
What do you like best about working for Rulien + Associates?
The high-paced environment, and that I feel like they truly care for their employees. The benefits are great, too!
If you could do another job just for one day, what would it be?
I would be a Veterinarian. I originally started my career path/schooling working toward becoming a veterinary surgeon.
Where is your favorite place to be?
Where is the best place you have traveled to, and what makes it the best?
Chiang Mai, Thailand by far. This was a travel experience we took just recently. My husband and I try to take three trips a year with our kiddos, but this last one was special because it was just the two of us for 20 days!
What is one thing you cannot resist?
Redecorating/reorganizing my house constantly.
What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
What would you most like to tell yourself at age 13?
LOL! You will have a daughter just like you. You just wait!
What has been the most important innovation you have witnessed in your lifetime?
Internet and Forensic Sciences. I’ve been watching about Ted Bundy lately, and I learned that he would have been prosecuted much sooner if there had been technology for DNA available.
