With more than a decade of experience in the accounting industry, Chelsea holds Master’s of Professional Accountancy and Bachelor’s of Business Administration degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University and is a CPA candidate.
In her role at Rulien + Associates, Chelsea is dedicated to maintaining and managing client relationships, preparing tax returns, and assisting with bookkeeping. Her professional background includes positions as a tax professional, administrative assistant, senior auditor, staff accountant, bookkeeper, tax associate, and client accounting specialist. Her work centers on tax, auditing, and bookkeeping and has extensive experience working with individuals, homeowners associations, for-profit organizations, and non-profit organizations. Her expertise also encompasses handling tax issues with the IRS.
Chelsea believes that clients are the backbone of the firm, she and strives to build open, comfortable relationships where clients feel empowered to ask questions and voice concerns. She is committed to ensuring that clients understand issues with utmost clarity and resolving all worries. Chelsea’s professional philosophy is grounded in continuous learning and self-improvement, reflecting her dedication to professional development.
Outside of work, Chelsea volunteers at the local animal shelter and cherishes time spent with her husband and 4-year-old son. She is also an avid movie collector with over 500 titles, ranging from VHS to digital, and she has a self-described obsession with sticky notes, which she uses extensively in her daily activities.
