Christina Marie Youngberg

Bringing more than a decade of accounting experience to our firm, Christina holds an Associate’s degree from Gogebic County Community College in Ironwood, Michigan and a professional certification in QuickBooks Online.

In her role at Rulien + Associates, Christina is responsible for managing and reviewing client accounts to ensure financial accuracy. Her professional journey began as a bookkeeper for a small business, advancing later to an office manager role. She transitioned to remote work as an itinerant staffer for a number of accounting firms, traveling across the country in an RV with her partner and two canine companions.

Christina specializes in helping clients maintain clean, organized books and ensuring all accounts are accurately coded for tax season. She has extensive experience comprising multiple industries, including construction, restaurants, medical marijuana, hotels, adult daycare, healthcare, gravel and blacktop, and trucking. Her professional approach is centered on actively listening to clients, gaining a more complete understanding of their needs and simplifying financial management for them. Christina derives great professional satisfaction from easing her clients’ anxiety levels and helping them focus on what they do best. Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is simple yet powerful: “Go for it!”

Aside from work, Christina enjoys outdoor life, RV travel and exploring national monuments. Her love of seeing the world no doubt stems from her childhood as a “Navy Brat,” having spent parts of her early life in Hawaii and Washington State. She now resides in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, enjoying the Northwoods while continuing her RV travels around the country.
