Client Controller / CFO
Purpose of the role:
Maintain client accounting and prepare financial statements for each Company of the client. High level of client communication and customer service.
- Reports to: Operations Manager
- Hours: Full-time

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Review data entry, reconciliations, and WPS provided by client managers or bookkeepers
- Prepare review notes/ items to be fixed and direct to client manager or bookkeeper
- Prepare higher level journal entries within clients books
- Add specific WPS to existing WPS on higher level entries/ questions
- Prepare and submit financials to clients by due dates set by clients
- Ensure review notes are fixed within 1 week
- Prepare all Compliance items for clients needs by required deadlines
- Sales tax
- 1099’s
- Excise tax
- Income tax
- BPAR tax
- etc
- Meetings & communications with clients
- Client consulting on various software programs
- Tracking of departments deadlines and reporting to operations manager
- Client advisory services based off clients needs
- Occasional data entry of Level 3 clients
- Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager
Work Experience, Skills & Strengths
- Office / bookkeeping experience
- Tax preparation experience
- Ability to learn new software
- Ability to write professional emails
- Good customer service skills
Academic, Certifications & Trade Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED required
- Accounting / Finance degree preferred
- Microsoft Office experience preferred
- QuickBooks® Online experience preferred
