Royce Welchman

Royce Welchman is excited to be joining the Archer Lewis team as an Accounting Manager, and he looks forward to partnering with clients and colleagues to deliver accurate, insightful, and timely financial work. He comes more than ten years of accounting, management, and analytics experience spanning a variety of fields including, but not limited to, restaurant, property, captive, real estate, and small business accounting — a breadth he is eager to put to work supporting the diverse client base Archer Lewis serves.

Most recently, as an Accountant at Ignite Spot Accounting, Royce was involved in client onboarding, clean-up engagements, and full-cycle accounting, overseeing high-volume AP and AR, payroll, accruals, deferred revenue, and month- and year-end close. He is a technology-forward accountant who genuinely enjoys driving and learning about automation and system integrations. He looks forward to bringing that same mindset to the workflows and clients he will be supporting at Archer Lewis.

Royce holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University, along with certifications including QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Intuit Bookkeeper, Xero, Ramp, Bill, Rippling Payroll, Gusto Payroll, Double (formerly Keeper), and A2X.

Outside and inside work as well, Royce is a lifelong learner who is always exploring something new. Lately, I am exploring and learning about AI, data analytics, automation, and working toward earning his CPA. He is happily married and a proud father of four. In his downtime, you’ll find him reading, watching or playing sports (basketball and football especially), or enjoying board game nights with his family. He is looking forward to getting to know the Archer Lewis team and contributing wherever he can.
